Native American Flutes

Hand-Carved Cedar Love Flutes

Generations ago, wonderful melodies could be heard from hills, valleys, and surrounding forests. . . Young braves played love songs on handcarved flutes to serenade young maidens. In traditional times, young maidens were forbidden to leave the compound after dusk. Therefore, courting practices consisted of young braves humming soft melodies to chosen maidens. As darkness fell upon the land, the young brave would journey to the countryside playing the same soft melodies on his handcarved love flute. . . Letting her know he was thinking of her.
